In this article, I’m going to share with you the Top 4 tips to getting a flatter tummy in a week, without even needing to hit the gym and with each consecutive tip, I’m going to intensify your potential results.

But don’t just read the last tip! They all work hand-in-hand. There’s a saying:

“a great combination is more than the sum of its parts.”

So let’s get started…

1. Reduce (NOT eliminate) your carbs without having to feel hungry.

Benefits: Greater muscle definition, improved skin tone, less bloating, more energy
Difficulty: Tough for the first week, then after that it gets exponentially easier the longer you do it

In my experience, staying away from too many carbohydrates for a minimum of six days, ABSOLUTELY took off a significant amount of size on my waist which gave me all the more reason to keep going at it.

Just to be clear, “too many carbohydrates” means having a meal that is more than 20% rice, bread, pasta, sweets, sodas and other high-carbohydrate foods and drinks.

“But what makes up the other 80% of the meal?”

Easy. That would be vegetables and lean meat. Fruit can be eaten but I’d stay away from eating fruit together with your meal for reasons I’ll state in a future article.

This all sounds so difficult but that’s probably because you’ve tried at least once to cut out ALL carbs from your diet, completely. Yes, this would work as well but it’s a lot more difficult than restricting carbs to just 20% of your meals.

TRUST ME. This will work for you and the health and aesthetic benefits will be amazing. Give it a week and feel and see the difference in your body, and then come back and tell us whether it was worth it.

2. Start juicing every day—it’s not as hard as you think.

Benefits: Better bowel movements, improved skin tone, less bloating, more energy
Difficulty: Plan your shopping in advance, buy in bulk, learn how to clean the juicer quickly and you’ll find this a LOT easier

If you want to lose twice as much size around your waist, replace a meal or two a day with a glass of fresh vegetable and fruit juice every morning for the whole week.

Your body will flush out unwanted toxins and waste from your gut that have been building up on your regular diet, making your tummy bulge and bloat.

You’ll need a juicer and if you want the optional recipe, you’ll also need a blender. Here’s a recipe to begin with (and it’s the best one):

Green Juice Recipe (Serves 1)

  • 1 peeled lemon
  • 1 bunch of celery
  • 1 whole cucumber
  • 2 handfuls of spinach
  • 1 pineapple

Optional: after juicing, transfer to a blender and add 1 skinned avocado with the stone removed, blend, pour and serve.

The foam that you’ll see from the fresh green juice is where the enzymes are. They are responsible for breaking down your food faster. So drink on!

Okay… on to the next tip.

3. CPS (Crunches, Planks and Squats) at home, work or in the airplane.

Benefits: Better muscle size, more strength, more stamina, greater muscle definition, improved skin tone, more endorphins
Difficulty: Pretty easy, actually—just find a space, wear some workout gear and you’re good to go

Alright I was kidding about the airplane. But who knows, maybe the cabin crew will give you a space if you’re that desperate.

Here’s a routine I’ve tried and tested.  You can perform this routine 3-4 times per week.
*Don’t forget to stretch before and after the workout.*

Play your favorite playlist out loud whilst working out. Trust me, it’ll make you feel more motivated. It helps with your rhythm as well.

  • 3 sets of 15 crunches (you can always do more)
  • 3 sets of 30 second planks
  • 3 sets of 25 squats

Once this workout starts to feel too easy (after constantly doing the same workout your body will adapt and things will seem a lot easier than they used to) you change up the tempo, do more repetitions and also start adding more weight. This will all happen after one week, though.

For cardio you can pick among these low intensity cardio exercises (better done everyday):

  • Brisk walking for at least 30 minutes a day
  • Jogging for at least 20 minutes a day
  • Jumping jacks 25x non-stop
  • Jumping ropes
  • Sports (Swimming, Running, Badminton, Tennis, Basketball etc)

4. Flushing the waste from your colon (quadruple waist size reduction).

Benefits: Greater mental clarity, Greater muscle definition, improved skin tone, less bloating
Difficulty: Depending on your “weapon of choice”, it can be a little uncomfortable or inconvenient if not timed correctly

This fourth tip I’m sharing is something you can’t exactly do every week, but you can do it every month.

It’s called Colon Hydrotherapy or Colonic Irrigation.

I swear by this.

Colonic hydrotherapy is a safe and effective method of cleansing the colon by repeated, gentle flushing with warm filtered water under very low pressure, using specialised massage techniques on the tummy area to stimulate release. This is done by professionals in clinics and hospitals.
